2023 — A year in review
Welcome to my annual artistic journey review, guiding you through a year brimming with exciting collaborations and personal achievements that have reached new heights! This is the extended format of my Twitter threads with a breakdown of my 2023 milestones and offers a sneak peek into what lies ahead.
Global Exhibitions and Art Shows
From the bustling avenues of Seoul to the cultural centers of Beijing, through the mesmerizing art districts of Paris to the vibrant galleries of Lisbon - showcasing my work in numerous galleries and venues across the globe was a remarkable experience for me in 2023, and I'm deeply grateful for the opportunities!
In total, I showcased my work in +20 exhibitions and shows worldwide. Here are some of my personal favorites (in no particular order):
Beijing Contemporary Art Expo 2023
Mike Winkelmann, alias Beeple, is no stranger to the NFT art community. I was thrilled to receive an email confirming the display of my work at the grand opening event of his new studio, an outstanding opportunity to showcase a best-of selection of my art among other talented artists chosen by him.
Overall, I had the chance to exhibit my work for a second time at his studio during Art Charleston in April 2023.

Deji Art Museum, Nanjing, China
October marked my most significant achievement of the year when I was commissioned by the Deji Art Museum in China to create an animated still life for their permanent collection and exhibition, "Nothing Still About Still Lifes - Three Centuries of Floral Compositions." Having my art featured in one of China's most innovative museums is an immense milestone for me, and I am incredibly proud to have my work displayed alongside some of the world's finest artists.
BLOOM Artist's Villa, Lisbon, Portugal
In June, I coordinated a unique event during the Non-Fungible Conference in Lisbon. Collaborating with Arab Bank Switzerland, we hosted an exclusive, invitation-only art showcase featuring unique works from my artist collective, BLOOM. Set near the iconic Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, the event turned out to be a great success and a personal highlight for me.

Poetics Of Space, sold in the first opening hours of the NFT Korea Festival for ~32K USD.
A special edition, digital still-life for Deji Art Museum was acquired for ~22.5ETH.

Compendium of Artificial Flowers - my first Open Edition was collected 110 times and raised 11ETH.
Diamond Hand - My first 6529 Memecard raised ~20ETH in the initial sale. It sold out in roughly 2 minutes. NFTvaluations compiled outstanding insights regarding the drop performance. It can be read here.

Talks, Collaborations, and Industry Recognition
NFT Korea Festival
As previously mentioned, the NFT Korea Festival was a standout moment for me in 2023. In addition to showcasing my art, I had the honor of sharing the stage with some incredible fellow artists and, notably, my work received the Art of NFT Korea Festival Award! This was the first prize I've received for my NFT work, and it occupies a special place in my studio.
SailGP
In June, I partnered with SailGP, a rapidly expanding sports property, to revolutionize fan engagement in sports using Web3 technology. Commissioned by GMGN Labs, and in close collaboration with artists from the BLOOM Collective, we developed a fan loyalty program offering complimentary rewards, including digital collectibles (NFTs) and exclusive money-can't-buy experiences.
Reuniting with GMGN in 2023 was a delightful experience. In the past, I've created multiple exclusive NFT artworks together with them for the New York City & London Fashion Weeks, collaborating with renowned fashion designers like Richard Quinn, Kim Shui, the Blonds, and others.
Octane Render Network feature
OctaneRender, known as the world's first and fastest unbiased, GPU render and a standard in CGI and film production, featured my work in May. I was highlighted in their Creators Spotlight section, with a featured interview. It can be read here:

Outlook 2024
I'm set to begin 2024 with remarkable exhibitions organized by my art collective during the NFT Paris conference, spanning across two! Galleries in Paris. One of my key takeaways from 2023 was the value of IRL experiences, connecting with fellow artists and art enthusiasts at various global events. Building on this, my goal is to host my first major solo exhibition later in the year.
Alongside refining my skills with cutting-edge technologies, I am exploring the incorporation of AI into my artwork more deeply. While I have been experimenting with AI for a while, I have not yet unveiled any art that is primarily driven by AI.
The first quarter of 2024 will also see the continuation of my popular 3D flower arrangement series, which remains a favorite among my collectors.
Beyond my digital creations, I plan to release more physical fine art prints this year. With my roots in traditional art, I cherish the tangible feel of physical art mediums.
